Truck accident causes extensive damage and injuries

Sometimes elements out of our control can cause a fateful accident, like the one that happened recently in Franklin County. Truck accidents are an all too common occurrence, and when they happen, they often result in serious injury. A car traveling south on Hilliard-Rome Road crossed the center line for an unknown reason, causing it to become involved in one of many recent truck accidents on our Ohio roadways. The crash caused police to shut down that area of Hilliard-Rome Road for several hours.

The car was seriously damaged, and the collision had enough force to roll the truck onto its side. The car's driver was seriously injured, and was trapped inside his vehicle for an extended amount of time while waiting for emergency crews to extract him. He was transferred to Grant Medical Center with leg fractures, and is said to be in stable condition.

The truck driver was not injured, just emotionally shaken from the crash. He was trying to get off the road onto the side when the oncoming car smashed into the rear of the truck. The injured person was lucky, as many people do not survive such severe truck accidents.

Everyone who is involved in a motor vehicle accident deserves legal representation to help them with ensuing medical bills and insurance claims. An experienced attorney can help victims of truck accidents, like the one above, in receiving compensation for their injuries, lost wages and pain and suffering. An attorney's advice can often help someone weather the storm that inevitably follows an accident of any kind.
