This includes insurance claims (liability insurance, uninsured motorists coverage and underinsured motorist coverage) for injuries and wrongful deaths resulting from motor vehicle accidents (automobile accidents, truck accidents, bicycle accidents, motorcycle accidents, and pedestrians accidents). We also represent people who have injury or wrongful death claims as a result of improper medical or nursing care, and defective or dangerous products. Another important area of practice are cases arising out injuries and deaths sustained by residents of nursing homes and other extended care and assisted living facilities. We also represent workers who have been injured on the job site (safe place to work claims), and persons who have been injured while on another person’s property (premises liability claims). Unlike many firms, Volkema Thomas is also willing to represent citizens who have claims against a lawyer for legal malpractice. We are also interested in qui tam, false claims or whistleblower cases.
